Hello! Happy Monday!
Hope you had a nice weekend? Mine was a jam-packed working one but don’t feel too bad for me. I’ve been cramming everything in so I can take this whole week off. Such is the self-employed life! There’s no one to cover me (and no holiday pay), but there’s no one to say I can’t down tools anytime I fancy either.
My clients are all sorted and TWP is all scheduled - you’ve got a savoury recipe coming on Wednesday and a sweet one coming on Thursday, you lucky ducks. Meanwhile, I’ll be hosting and hanging out with some of my uni gals, seeing my auntie for afternoon tea and then rounding off with a trip to London. Woot woot!
Having this all in the diary has been such good value. Don’t you just love having something to look forward to?
A little reminder to send that text, book that break and carve out some fun time soon :)
You NEED to try these cauliflower hash browns. As a snack on their own, they’re excellent. In a bacon sandwich or with eggs or avocado, also excellent.
You don’t have to be a Harry Potter fan to find this hilarious, but it does help.
Winter is coming. The nights (on the sofa with a hot choccie) are drawing in. You need some proper jammies. Grown-up, chic, comfy ones. I get so many compliments on my Their Nibs pyjamas and have bought them as Christmas prezzies for a bunch of friends and family. I love the traditional style and jazzy prints, and the fact they’re only £34-38 for a set!
Attenborough is back on our screens! I watched the first episode of Planet Earth III last night and it was the usual humbling, evocative, inspiring viewing experience.
Restore your faith in humanity / have a happy cry about all the rescue dogs who’ve found their happily ever after here. Just look at those faces!!
